Description:

The AHLA Early Career Professionals Committee (ECPC) is looking for authors. If selected, your article will be published as a “Spotlight” article in the Health Law Connections magazine. This is a strong opportunity for early career professionals to build their external profile and showcase their interest and expertise in health care law through publication in a monthly periodical received by AHLA’s members. The topic and subject matter of the Spotlight article is flexible and can address wide-ranging issues relevant to early career professionals (including law students). For example, articles might address mentorship, networking, the early career professional experience, building a practice as a more junior attorney, research skills for early career professionals, or a discussion of how to approach a substantive area related to health care law as an early career professional. Articles should be 500 to 1,000 words, including an introduction, conclusion, and appropriate legal citations, if applicable.

Examples of past articles are available in the magazine archive

Author slots will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis and assigned a target publication month. Articles are due from authors approximately two months before publication. All articles should be original content, not previously published.
