AHLA membership staff are seeking members to help us highlight one of the most valuable benefits of belonging to our Association — the connections you make with health law professionals from across the country. We are creating a series of short, member-recorded videos that illustrate how the Association’s professional network supports real-world collaboration that we share on our website during Health Law Week in January 2026. For example, your one-minute video could highlight how:
- You connected with an AHLA colleague at a conference and later reached out to them because you needed state-specific expertise from someone who practices in that state.
- Your consulting business puts you on the road frequently, so you have made it a practice to reach out to those whom you served with in previous leadership roles whenever you are in their city.
- You remembered a conversation with another member whose specialty aligned perfectly with a discrete issue you needed to address.
- You found the perfect co-counsel through your AHLA network when you needed someone with specialized regulatory experience for a complex compliance matter.
- Through your participation in AHLA’s online Health Law Topical Community, you discovered a solo practitioner who had specialized expertise in a privacy-related matter.
- An AHLA colleague became a trusted advisor for navigating a challenging ethical question, and that relationship has continued to provide valuable guidance on similar issues.
- You served alongside a seasoned colleague on the AHLA Women’s Leadership Council, and through working together on council initiatives, they became an invaluable mentor who has guided your professional development and opened doors to new opportunities in health law.
