Call for Volunteers: Judging Panel for IDEA Champion Award

Description:

The Association seeks members to serve on a Judging Panel to review and score entries for the IDEA Champion Award. The judging period will be approximately from Mid-November to End-November.  

The IDEA Champion Award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated leadership in and commitment to advancing inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility (IDEA) in AHLA and the health law profession.

Eligibility: AHLA seeks current members who have experience in advancing inclusion, diverse, equity, and accessibility initiatives, are willing to commit time to review and score applications and participate in one or more virtual meetings to discuss the entries. Applicants should disclose any potential conflict of interest in serving and cannot have nominated someone for the Award if serving on the Panel. Members must be available to participate with others on the judging panel, reach consensus on the selection, and advance the recommendation to the Awards Advisory Group for approval. The Judging Panel will be representative of AHLA’s diverse membership to ensure a variety of voices and perspectives are heard.
